New Streamlined Design

BorderConnect 3.0 sports several new design and usability enhancements to its user-interface to give you faster access to features and an overall richer user experience.

Larger Viewable Workspace

Side menus in previous versions now appear under the main menu. This increases your view area so that you can see more information without scrolling. This change will also help if your display is set to lower resolutions, such as 800x600.

Enhanced Usability Provides Quicker Access To Features

BorderConnect has undergone many usability enhancements to provide you with quicker and more direct access to features. Action buttons and icons are intuitive and clearly stand-out. These icons are always near the listings and details that are effected by their actions. You can even use short-cuts from your keyboard, such as pressing ALT-S for saving forms, instead of moving your mouse and clicking the button when editing forms or using actions. Simply hover over the button to find out it's short-cut key.

Search forms are now directly placed with listings at all times. We've even added striped tables and paged results for all listings inside BorderConnect so you can scan the results more easily.

Tool-Tips Provide More Information About Data When Editing Forms

To ease the entering of form data, we've added various tool-tips to provide you with extra information when editing forms. You can simply hover over the question mark next to the form element and BorderConnect will tell you of any additional information about the particular piece of data, such as the proper format or the effects of a particular setting, as shown below.
